Cosmos Adds Bank Connectivity to Swift Blockchain Ledger
Tokenized deposits help banks connect core systems to Swift and blockchain networks Bridge existing records to new settlement rails and keep pace with emerging rivals
Cosmos Labs has announced a new connection between its Tokenization Suite and Swift’s blockchainbased shared ledger, aiming to help banks link their internal systems with tokenized deposits and external networks.
The company said its infrastructure can work with widely used banking cores such as Fiserv, FIS, Jack Henry, Temenos and Hogan, allowing institutions to keep existing records in place while operating tokenizeddeposit ledgers.
According to the report, the setup is designed to connect banks to Swift’s ledger as well as other networks including Canton, Partior, Ethereum and Solana. The article also notes that Oracle and Chainlink have introduced similar integrations, suggesting that multiple providers are competing to become the bridge between traditional banking and blockchainbased settlement.
