Four teenage suspects were arrested in Montreal after a vehicle was driven into a jewelry store in the AhuntsicCartierville borough early Monday morning.
Police said they were called to the intersection of Fleury Street and Curotte Avenue shortly before 2 a.m. after reports of a crash. Investigators believe the group used an SUV to ram the store in an apparent attempted robbery before fleeing in another vehicle.
Officers later tracked down the suspects, who were identified as males aged 13 to 18. Police said no jewelry was taken, but the store suffered significant damage and its owners were still assessing the impact later in the day. The investigation is ongoing.
