Russia said its air defenses intercepted 660 Ukrainian drones, while Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said 47 drones were shot down before reaching the capital. The report did not say whether there were significant casualties or damage from the Ukrainian attack.
The same day, Ukraine’s air force said it had intercepted 174 of 189 Russian drones overnight, though several missiles still got through.
