Ondo launches tokenized private market exposure to pre-IPO AI company

Ondo Finance is expanding its tokenization business into private markets with a new product linked to an unnamed preIPO artificial intelligence company. The company said the new Ondo Private Markets notes are designed to give eligible investors economic exposure to the company’s value at a qualifying liquidity event, without giving them direct ownership of its shares. The notes can be held in selfcustody wallets and traded on secondary markets around the clock. Ondo said the first notes are expected to begin trading this week, with additional products tied to companies in sectors such as robotics, cybersecurity, biotech, and infrastructure planned later. The move comes as other firms also look for ways to bring privatecompany exposure onto blockchainbased platforms, including tokenized or fundbased access models.
