Police investigate Eglinton restaurant fire as suspected arson

Toronto police are investigating an overnight fire at 3 Eggs All Day Grill on Eglinton Avenue West as suspected arson. Emergency crews were called to 936 Eglinton Avenue West near Bathurst Street around 2:45 a.m. on Wednesday after smoke was reported coming from the building. Toronto Fire said the restaurant is attached to nearby residential units, but the people inside had already evacuated before crews arrived. No injuries were reported. Police are asking anyone with information about the fire to contact investigators.
