Grayscale files for 3-for-1 Zcash ETF share split
Grayscale Zcash ETF split filing may make shares more accessible to investors See how the 3-for-1 move could lower the price without changing value
Grayscale has filed for a 3for1 forward split of shares in its Zcash ETF, according to a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
If approved and carried out at the close of trading on Sept. 28, shareholders would receive two additional shares for each share they own. The split would lower the price per share while leaving the overall value of each investor’s stake unchanged.
Grayscale said the move is intended to make the fund more accessible as interest in Zcash has grown and the ETF share price had become relatively expensive for some investors.
