Police in Laval, Que., are investigating the death of a 77yearold woman whose body was found in a condo unit in the city’s Chomedey district on Tuesday.
Officers were called to the JeanBéraud Street building around 12:30 p.m. after a report of injured people. The woman was later confirmed dead, and her 78yearold partner was taken to hospital for treatment.
Investigators have not determined the cause of death and are not ruling out intimate partner violence. Police said they will speak with the man when his condition allows.
