Winnipeg Blue Bombers quarterback Zach Collaros said he was disappointed to miss the wedding of longtime friend Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift in New York City on Friday because of his CFL schedule.
Collaros was travelling with the Bombers in Hamilton ahead of their game against the TigerCats on Sunday, which kept him away from the ceremony at Madison Square Garden. He said professional football often means missing major personal events.
Collaros added that Kelce has supported him at important milestones in the past, and he joked that the couple should have checked the football schedule before choosing their wedding date.
