Recently, the Tianjin Municipal Government Information Office introduced that during the 15th FiveYear Plan period, the focus of Tianjin's work in the natural resources sector will shift from ensuring support for relocation and receiving transferred functions to promoting coordinated coconstruction, so as to serve the building of the modern capital metropolitan circle through spatial governance at a higher level. In terms of planning, Tianjin will implement the spatial coordinated plan for the capital metropolitan circle and the city's overall territorial spatial plan, improve the planning transmission mechanism, and strengthen rigid control over red lines for farmland and ecological protection, while coordinating the spatial needs of major projects and enhancing the linkage between planning and development. In terms of crossregional factor保障, Tianjin will advance connectivity around three directions: transportation, industry, and ecology. It will provide land and seause services for infrastructure such as the BeijingBinhai intercity railway and the TianjinWeifang highspeed railway, support platforms such as the BeijingTianjin Cooperation Demonstration Zone and Wuqing BeijingTianjin Industrial New Town in receiving scientific and technological achievements from Beijing, and promote the BeijingTianjin Mountains and Rivers Project to enhance regional ecological security. Tianjin will also drive the construction of key areas through the spatial development system of "one axis, two belts, four dimensions, and multiple nodes," promote integrated development along the Haihe River, the Blue Bay Belt, and the portindustrycity integration in Binhai New Area, and use the upgrading and quality improvement of areas around hubs such as Tianjin West Railway Station as a breakthrough to cultivate new growth points for hub economy and flow economy.
