Shanghai's Three Leading Industries' Manufacturing Output Value Grew 14.5% in the First Half of the Year
Shanghai's manufacturing output value in the three leading industries grew 14.5%, with artificial intelligence, integrated circuits, and biomedicine all making strong progress See how Shanghai is sprinting toward a trillion-yuan industrial cluster, and explore the expansion of emerging industries and innovation momentum
In the first half of this year, the manufacturing output value of Shanghai's three leading industries increased by 14.5% year on year. Among them, the artificial intelligence manufacturing industry grew the fastest, while integrated circuits and biomedicine also maintained relatively rapid growth, showing the continued expansion of Shanghai's emerging industries.
The article points out that by 2025, Shanghai's integrated circuit industry scale had exceeded 580 billion yuan, the biomedicine industry had surpassed 100 billion yuan for the first time, and the industry scale of AIrelated enterprises had also exceeded 637 billion yuan. Looking ahead to the 15th FiveYear Plan, Shanghai has proposed that all three leading industries should each reach the trillionyuan level, and that manufacturing output value should grow by an average of 10% annually.
The report separately reviews the development progress of the three main tracks: artificial intelligence, integrated circuits, and biomedicine, including cases such as the growth of computing power scale, the advancement of large model and agent applications, the acceleration of robot mass production, as well as the overseas expansion of new semiconductor materials and innovative biopharmaceuticals, reflecting Shanghai's latest progress in industrial upgrading and technological innovation.
