The Blue House has clarified the controversy over the establishment of a mortgage that was raised during President Lee Jaemyung's sale of an apartment in Bundang. On the 21st, the Blue House explained that the transaction was carried out in a customary manner through a real estate broker, and that the mortgage registration was also based on a civil agreement between the parties to the transaction. It also said to be cautious of claims or reports that differ from the facts regarding the disposal of the private residence. Earlier, controversy arose after it was revealed that during the president's sale of an apartment in Bundang for 2.9 billion won, the transfer of ownership and the establishment of a mortgage took place before part of the balance payment was received. In response, the Blue House said it was a measure taken in consideration of the buyer's circumstances, and rejected claims of preferential treatment in the designation for reconstruction, saying they were not true.
