The 2026 Ecological Civilization Guiyang International Forum Symposium was held in Guiyang on July 6, attended and addressed by Xu Lin, Secretary of the Guizhou Provincial Party Committee, Li Bingjun, Governor of Guizhou Province, and others.
The conference invited several domestic and international experts to deliver keynote speeches, and exchanges were held on topics such as global environmental governance, climate change response, and collaborative governance for nature conservation. It also discussed how Guizhou can align with international agendas such as the KunmingMontreal Global Biodiversity Framework and the Paris Agreement.
The Guizhou side said it will continue to uphold ecological priority and green development, promote green and lowcarbon transformation and institutional innovation in ecological civilization, and turn the Guiyang International Forum into a cooperation platform with greater international influence.
