Director Lee Changdong highly praised the film at Director Na Hongjin's GV for the movie 'HOPE.'
According to a JTBC report on the 21st, Director Lee Changdong said after watching 'HOPE' that it was a work that pushed cinematic elements such as tension, suspense, and pace beyond their limits. He praised Director Na Hongjin's attempt and level of completion, saying, “Thank you very much for making a film like this.”
The director especially noted that the development in the latter half of the film left a strong impression. He also evaluated that Director Na Hongjin's world is building a unique genre based on Korean spaces and characters. 'HOPE' is a film that tells the story of what happens after hearing news of a tiger's appearance in a village near the DMZ.
