Beijing Holds a Concert Celebrating the 105th Anniversary of the Founding of the Communist Party of China

On the evening of June 29, a concert titled "People First" was held in Beijing to celebrate the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. Xi Jinping, Li Qiang, Zhao Leji, Wang Huning, Cai Qi, Ding Xuexiang, Li Xi, and Han Zheng, along with other Party and state leaders, watched the performance together with about 3,000 audience members. The concert was held at the Great Hall of the People and was divided into five movements. The repertoire included classic pieces such as "Ode to the Red Flag," "To Our Elders," "Red Azalea," and "Ode to the Yellow River," as well as orchestral and choral works showcasing the development achievements of the new era. Through music, the performance reviewed the course of development through revolution, construction, reform and opening up, and the new era, expressing love for the Party and tribute to the people. At the end of the performance, the entire audience sang "Without the Communist Party, There Would Be No New China" in unison, and the concert concluded in a warm atmosphere. Responsible officials from central and state organs and relevant departments of Beijing, as well as members of the public from all walks of life, recipients of meritorious honors, veteran Party members and cadres, foreign experts, and representatives of troops stationed in Beijing, watched the performance together.
