Liu Jianguo, Deputy Director of the National Radio and Television Administration, said that in the future it will continue to promote the application of artificial intelligence in the radio, television, and audiovisual sectors, while also strengthening standardized management to ensure that technology serves creation and content security. Liu Jianguo said that radio and television audiovisual programs generated, produced, or broadcast using artificial intelligence must be marked with corresponding content labels; key stages of program production and final video review must also continue to be subject to human review and approval; behaviors such as "AI tampering" will be strictly prohibited. The National Radio and Television Administration said it will continue to improve institutional rules in line with the evolution of artificial intelligence technology, promote innovative applications in a classified manner, and, while encouraging development, uphold the bottom line of content security.
