This message followed his remarks the previous day that he interpreted the results of the June 3 local elections as a warning to himself and the government.
According to a survey cited in the article by the Korea Society Opinion Institute (KSOI), a poll of 1,002 voters nationwide conducted on the 8th and 9th found that approval of his performance in state affairs stood at 50.4%, down 9.4 percentage points from the previous survey, while negative evaluations rose 10.5 percentage points to 45.7%. The survey was conducted using an ARS method with wireless virtual numbers, and the margin of error was ±3.1 percentage points at the 95% confidence level.
