China's Ministry of National Defense says China will participate in Seychelles' parade event for the first time
Ministry of National Defense of China press conference: the Tangshan will visit Seychelles and take part in the 50th anniversary of independence parade SCO officers exchange and China-ASEAN defense think tank activities will be held simultaneously, with attention on the latest developments
Chinese Ministry of National Defense spokesperson Zhang Xiaogang said at a regular press conference on June 25 that the Chinese Navy's Tangshan warship will visit Seychelles, and a detachment will be formed to take part in Seychelles' 50th Independence Day commemorative parade. This will be the first time China has participated in a Seychelles parade event.
Zhang Xiaogang also said that from June 25 to July 1, the Chinese Ministry of National Defense will host the second Shanghai Cooperation Organization Young Officers Exchange Activity, inviting military officers and defense officials from multiple countries to participate in lectures, seminars, and visits centered on defense and security cooperation.
He also mentioned that from July 8 to 10, the 4th ChinaASEAN Defense Think Tank Exchange Activity will be held in Kunming, where relevant experts and scholars will discuss topics such as regional security cooperation.
