Broadcaster Park Narae has been sent to prosecutors over allegations of abusive treatment toward her former managers. On the 10th, the Seoul Gangnam Police Station sent Park Narae to the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office with an opinion for indictment on charges including special assault and violations of the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, etc. Earlier, two former managers filed a complaint in December last year, claiming they were subjected to verbal abuse for not drinking alcohol or were injured when struck by a drinking glass. Park Narae denied the allegations and filed countersuits against the former managers for attempted extortion, among other charges, and she did not admit to the allegations during three separate rounds of questioning in February, March, and May. Police said that, separate from this case, the investigation into allegations that Park Narae received illegal medical procedures from a socalled 'jusa ajumma' is still ongoing.
