Taizhou's First Direct Charter Flight to Alar Arrives, Promoting Cultural and Tourism Exchange as Part of Xinjiang Aid Efforts

The inaugural direct charter flight from Taizhou to Alar has begun service, with 152 tourists arriving directly at Tarim Airport It shortens travel time, makes tourism in Xinjiang more convenient, and also adds new momentum to cultural and tourism cooperation between the two places

The first batch of 152 Taizhou tourists in 2026 recently arrived at Xinjiang Alaer Tarim Airport aboard a direct charter flight, marking the official launch of the inaugural TaizhouAlaer route. According to reports, this route was opened with the support of Taizhou’s paired assistance program for Xinjiang, aiming to shorten travel time between the two places, reduce the inconvenience caused by transfers, improve convenience for tourists traveling to Alaer, and bring new sources of visitors to the local summer cultural and tourism market. On the Alaer side, airport pickup and songanddance performances were organized to welcome the first group of tourists from Taizhou. The report also noted that in recent years, Taizhou and Alaer have continued to strengthen mutual tourist exchange, resource sharing, and industrial cooperation through direct tourist charter flights, cultural and tourism exchange activities, and other means.
