On June 24, General Secretary Xi Jinping inspected the summer harvest and summer planting situation in Dongyujia Village, Bianlin Town, Lingcheng District, Dezhou, Shandong, going into the fields to exchange views with large grain growers, agricultural machinery operators, and agricultural technicians to learn about grain yields, production costs, and field management.
The report noted that, despite unfavorable conditions such as continuous autumn rain last year and relatively weak seedling growth this year, the local area ensured a bumper summer grain harvest and steady progress in summer sowing through technical guidance, refined management, and agricultural machinery support.
