Three departments allocate 50,000 units of central disaster relief supplies to support typhoon prevention in Zhejiang and Fujian

Typhoon disaster prevention and relief supplies have been allocated to Zhejiang and Fujian to ensure public evacuation and relocation, as well as shelter and resettlement 50,000 items, including folding beds and summer quilts, have been delivered, helping local areas improve their temporary support capacity

On July 9, the Office of the National Committee for Disaster Prevention, Reduction and Relief and the Ministry of Emergency Management, together with the National Food and Strategic Reserves Administration, allocated 50,000 units of central disaster relief supplies to Zhejiang and Fujian to support the evacuation, relocation, and resettlement of local residents. The supplies allocated this time include folding beds, summer quilts, and household emergency kits. They were mainly arranged in a coordinated manner according to the needs for preventing and responding to Typhoon No. 9 of this year, "Bavi". Relevant departments said that this move aims to improve the temporary resettlement support capacity in disasterhit areas and help local authorities better carry out personnel transfer and basic livelihood support work.
