Launch of the Excellent Young Teachers Training Support Program for National Border Schools

Recently, the Ministry of Education held a launch meeting in Heihe, Heilongjiang, and officially implemented the Excellent Young Teachers Training Support Program for National Border Schools. The program aims to strengthen teacher team development in border areas, enhance the teaching and instructional capabilities of young teachers at national border schools, and drive overall improvement in the quality of local teachers. The meeting pointed out that teachers in border areas have long been rooted at the grassroots level and are an important force in safeguarding educational equity, serving frontier development, and supporting the country's longterm development. Relevant departments said they will continue to work on ideological guidance, teacher allocation, training and development, and compensation guarantees, so as to promote highquality education development in border areas. It is understood that the program is guided by the Teacher Affairs Department of the Ministry of Education, supported by a donation from People's Education Press, and implemented by the China Teacher Development Foundation, which is responsible for project approval and execution. At the launch meeting, the relevant institutions also signed a memorandum of cooperation, and a symposium on teacher team development in border areas was held after the meeting.
