Two districts and counties in Chongqing issue an orange meteorological risk warning for geological disasters
Chongqing geological disaster meteorological risk warning: orange warnings for Kaizhou and Chengkou Yellow and blue warnings in many places; residents and tourists please pay attention to the information and take timely precautions
On August 5, the Chongqing Municipal Planning and Natural Resources Bureau and the Chongqing Meteorological Bureau jointly issued a meteorological risk warning for geological disasters, reminding relevant areas to strengthen prevention measures.
According to the warning information, from 20:00 on August 5 to 20:00 on August 6, Kaizhou and Chengkou are highrisk areas, with the meteorological risk level for geological disasters at Level II (orange warning); Nanchuan, Liangping, Zhongxian, Fengdu, Wanzhou, Yunyang, Fengjie, Wuxi, Wushan, Shizhu, Wulong, Pengshui, Qianjiang, Youyang and other areas are Level III (yellow warning); and Hechuan, Changshou, Dianjiang, Fuling, Wansheng Economic and Technological Development Zone, and Xiushan are Level IV (blue warning).
Local authorities remind all districts and counties, as well as relevant units, to strengthen coordinated consultation and risk assessment, and to do a good job in the fullchain prevention and response to geological disasters; residents and tourists should pay attention to the latest warning information and take timely safetyavoidance measures.
