Shandong CPPCC offers policy recommendations on the integrated development of education, science and technology, and talent

On September 22, the 16th meeting of the Standing Committee of the 13th Shandong Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference was held in Jinan, where consultations and deliberations were conducted around the theme of "accelerating the integrated development of education, science and technology, and talent, and actively building a higherlevel innovative province." Ge Huijun, Chairman of the Shandong Provincial Committee of the CPPCC, presided over the meeting, and Wang Guiying, Vice Governor of the Shandong Provincial People's Government, delivered a special report. At the meeting, several CPPCC standing committee members and committee members put forward suggestions based on Shandong's actual innovation and development, with a focus on the integration of industry and education, the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, and collaborative innovation for green and lowcarbon development. Bao Tao, Vice Chairman of the Qingdao Municipal Committee of the CPPCC, suggested relying on the Shandong Science and Technology Market to improve the "platformindustry" matchmaking mechanism, promote more precise alignment between scientific research and enterprise needs, and accelerate the transformation of scientific and technological achievements through pilot reforms. Participants also offered opinions on topics such as green manufacturing innovation consortia, the linkage between universities and hightech zones, and twoway lists of enterprise needs and university achievements, emphasizing that through coordinated mechanisms and the flow of talent, the efficiency of connecting scientific research supply with industrial demand can be improved, helping Shandong build a higherlevel innovative province.
