The quality supervision work has been launched for the first time, with 4 supervision teams stationed in the relevant provinces

The Office of the Leading Group for Coordinated Advancement of Building China into a Quality Power, together with relevant member units, launched quality inspections for the first time starting July 20. Four inspection teams will successively enter the relevant provinces and carry out checks on the implementation of the Party Central Committee and the State Council’s decisions and deployments regarding quality work, the fulfillment of quality responsibilities, and the coordinated handling by departments of hidden risks related to quality issues. This inspection will also conduct spot checks and verifications in fields where “involutionstyle” competition is relatively prominent, as well as key areas that draw high public attention and generate strong complaints from the public, with a focus on identifying prominent quality problems. Relevant departments said this work aims to improve quality governance capabilities and better serve highquality economic and social development and a highquality life for the people.
