Anhui's machine-harvest rate for wheat exceeds 99%, with more than 43 million mu basically harvested 160,000 combine harvesters raced to gather the grain and ensure every kernel is brought in; the summer grain harvest is steady, bringing greater peace of mind
On the 8th, the Anhui Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs reported that, as of that day, the harvest of the province’s more than 43 million mu of wheat had been basically completed, the machine harvest rate had exceeded 99%, and the overall production of summer grain this year had remained stable.
The report said that Anhui, as one of China’s major summer grainproducing provinces, quickly organized more than 160,000 highperformance combine harvesters to take part in the emergency harvest after being affected by rainfall in midtolate May, and maintained a high level of machine harvest intensity during the concentrated harvest period in the main producing areas, with an average daily投入 of 69,000 combine harvesters, reaching a peak of 111,000.
To deal with the pressure of drying and drying caused by overcast and rainy weather, the local area also deployed more than 20,000 grain dryers, and rushed to harvest 36.3 million mu of wheat within 8 days from May 29 to June 5. Preliminary monitoring shows that the average machineharvest loss rate of wheat in the province has remained within 1%, and the harvest and quality are generally good.
