"The 15th FiveYear Plan" Rural Comprehensive Revitalization and ChineseStyle Modernization Seminar, along with the 22nd National Social Sciences Agricultural Economics Cooperation Network Conference, was held in Nanjing from September 18 to 20. More than a hundred policy makers, local practitioners, and theoretical researchers from across the country exchanged views on topics such as building up China's strength in agriculture, upgrading rural industries, integrated urbanrural development, and modernizing rural governance. Participants said they hope social science research will align more closely with the "15th FiveYear Plan" and provide more intellectual support for the comprehensive revitalization of rural areas. Jiangsu, for its part, proposed that the province should be taken as an important example for observing provinciallevel practice of Chinesestyle modernization and rural revitalization, and that experiences that can be replicated and promoted should be further summarized. During the conference, four subforums were also held to discuss rural reform and innovation, urbanrural integration and regional coordination, rural governance innovation, and agricultural modernization and the development of new quality productive forces. The National Social Sciences Agricultural Economics Cooperation Network Conference has been held for 22 consecutive sessions and has long provided a platform for academic research and crossregional exchange in the field of agricultural economics.
