On July 7, a landslide disaster occurred in Dangchang County, Longnan City, Gansu Province, causing a certain number of casualties and property losses. The National Disaster Prevention, Reduction and Relief Commission has activated the National Level IV disaster relief emergency response.
According to the National Natural Disaster Relief Emergency Plan, the National Development and Reform Commission has urgently allocated 30 million yuan in central budget investment to support the emergency restoration and reconstruction of infrastructure and public service facilities in the disasterstricken area.
This funding arrangement is intended to help the affected area restore basic operating conditions as soon as possible and promote postdisaster recovery efforts.
