Jensen Huang Emphasizes Growth Opportunities in Korea's AI Ecosystem

NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang emphasized the growth potential of Korea's AI industry at a closeddoor event held on the 8th at the Yeongbingwan of The Shilla Seoul. He said that Korea is facing important opportunities in the AI field based on its cultural foundation, industrial capabilities, and geopolitical position. The event was attended by major domestic companies such as Samsung Electronics, SK Hynix, SK Telecom, Hyundai Motor, LG Electronics, Naver, and Krafton, as well as various AI startups and robotics companies. It was reported that attendees discussed generative AI, sovereign AI, AI semiconductor infrastructure, global expansion, and ways to cooperate with startups. CEO Huang noted that NVIDIA has worked closely with Korea for the past 33 years, and assessed that Korea has reached worldclass levels not only in electronics and heavy industry but also in software and the AI industry. He added that energy infrastructure, a technologyfriendly culture, and soft power such as Kpop and Kbeauty are also favorable conditions for expanding Korea's AI ecosystem.
