On October 1, the first day of the National Day holiday, many places in Jiaxing, Zhejiang, held activities to welcome National Day, and a festive atmosphere filled the streets and lanes.
At the heart island of Nanhu Lake, a themed flash mob presentation centered on the spirit of the red boat attracted many visitors to stop and watch. Speakers from various industries combined their own experiences to tell the story of the red boat and Jiaxing's development in an accessible and vivid way, making red culture easier to understand and feel.
On the same day, themed flash mob performances were also held at Jiaxing Nanhu Airport and the Yuehe Historic District. Teenagers sang in chorus "I and My Motherland," and performers in ethnic costumes presented Guozhuang dance, creating a lively atmosphere on site. During the National Day holiday, local authorities also launched markets and cultural events, making it convenient for residents and tourists to experience the city's history, culture, and festive atmosphere.
