Actress Yeom Hyeran attended the audience talk (GV) after the screening of the series 'Speaking Dead' at the 30th Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival (BIFAN) and shared her thoughts on the work and her character.
Yeom Hyeran described Detective Division Chief Ko Gyeonghui as a character who must find a balance between ambition and justice. She said she portrayed the role while thinking carefully to the end about what the character was pursuing within a malecentered organization and a glass ceiling.
She also commented on Kim Junhan, who attended the GV with her, saying that although they did not act opposite each other directly in the work, she felt his was an important role while reading the script, and that he was impressive in the actual performance as well. 'Speaking Dead' is a drama that tracks longburied truth following the confession of a forensic scientist, and stars Han Sukkyu, Jung Yumi, Lee Heejoon, Yeom Hyeran, and Kim Junhan.
