China and Namibia Sign the Framework Agreement on Jointly Developing an Economic Partnership

Recently, China and Namibia signed the Framework Agreement between the Government of the People's Republic of China and the Government of the Republic of Namibia on Jointly Promoting the Economic Partnership for Development.
According to the agreement, the two sides will further deepen economic and trade cooperation, enhance economic resilience and development momentum, and cooperate on sustainable development and inclusive growth.
The agreement also proposes support for the development of Namibia's manufacturing industry and the upgrading and transformation of agriculture. This is the 38th African country with which China has established diplomatic relations to sign such a framework agreement, and it represents another step forward in China's efforts to help African countries share the benefits of its vast market and development opportunities.
