Banollim Pizza has issued an official apology and launched an investigation regarding allegations of inappropriate remarks by one of its franchise store owners toward a minor parttime employee. According to the industry on the 9th, online communities and social media have recently been circulating claims and conversation logs from a student who worked at the franchise store, alleging that the owner made insulting remarks and inappropriate comments related to the student’s private life. The student side stated that they suffered mental distress because of this incident. Banollim Pizza explained that after becoming aware of the issue, it is currently verifying the facts and conducting an internal investigation. To prevent further harm, the company instructed the owner not to contact the victim or request the deletion of posts, and said it will use this incident as an opportunity to reexamine the management system for teenage workers at all franchise stores.
