Two Tianjin exhibitions focus on "advancing toward innovation" and "turning toward the sea," sending signals of industrial upgrading

Tianjin has recently consecutively hosted the 2026 World Intelligence Expo and the 4th Tianjin International Shipping Industry Expo. The two nationallevel exhibitions focus respectively on frontier fields such as artificial intelligence and braincomputer interfaces, as well as marinerelated industries such as shipping logistics and marine engineering equipment, reflecting that this coastal city is simultaneously advancing technological innovation and integrated development of ports, industries, and cities. Reports show that during the Intelligence Expo, 85 key projects were signed, covering tracks such as embodied intelligence and braincomputer interfaces. The Shipping Expo attracted 422 enterprises and institutions to participate, and facilitated the signing of 41 key projects, involving directions such as shipbuilding and marine engineering, modern shipping logistics, green finance leasing, and digital technology services. The article also mentioned that some of Tianjin's signed projects place greater emphasis on the "headquarters" attribute, showing that companies value not only investment implementation, but also the industrial ecosystem, application scenarios, and upstreamdownstream coordination.
