A landslide in Dangchang, Gansu has trapped people; the Ministry of Emergency Management has dispatched a team to the scene

On the morning of July 7, a landslide occurred in Renzang Village, Nanhe Town, Dangchang County, Longnan City, Gansu Province, leaving multiple people trapped. After receiving the report, the Ministry of Emergency Management activated a Level IV national geological disaster emergency response and dispatched a working group to the scene to guide rescue efforts. Minister of Emergency Management Zhang Chengzhong later made arrangements, requiring the number of trapped people to be verified as soon as possible, surrounding rescue forces to be mobilized, rescue and relief operations to be carried out scientifically, and secondary disasters to be prevented. At present, the local fire and rescue department has dispatched 7 vehicles and 40 personnel to handle the incident. The National Center for Work Safety Emergency Rescue has also sent a survey team carrying slope radar to participate in the rescue. A total of 120 personnel from the National Mine Emergency Rescue Sichuan Drainage Team, the Chuanmei Team, the Jingyuan Team, and the National Hazardous Chemicals Emergency Rescue Lanzhou Petrochemical Team have assembled and are on standby, ready to be deployed at any time.
