The world tour by singer Lee Hi and 808 HI RECORDINGS has been canceled. 808 HI RECORDINGS stated that it had received notice from the tour organizer, KINO WHITE TOURING KOREA INC., of the cancellation of performances in all cities and the commencement of audience refund procedures.
The agency explained that this cancellation was not due to a decision by the artist or any fault on their part. It claimed that, in order to proceed with the performances, it had repeatedly extended the payment deadline and requested fulfillment of the contract, but the organizer notified them of the cancellation before preparations were completed.
Lee Hi and 808 HI RECORDINGS had been scheduled to hold the tour in 10 cities, including Singapore, Manila, and Bangkok, but the performances fell through after they recently received a unilateral cancellation notice. The agency advised ticket purchasers to check with the place of purchase for refunds and said it would proceed with legal action if necessary.
