The Asia-Pacific Media Forum focused on dialogue, inclusiveness, and cooperation, promoting regional resilience and people-to-people exchanges Several guests suggested strengthening youth exchanges, digitalizing heritage, and industrial collaboration to support connectivity

At the Zhuhai subforum of the AsiaPacific Media HighLevel Forum held in Zhuhai, several Chinese and foreign guests said on the 3rd that the AsiaPacific region should enhance regional resilience through dialogue, inclusiveness, and cooperation, and promote closer peopletopeople exchanges and industrial collaboration. Chen Hanguang, EditorinChief of Malaysia's Sin Chew Daily, pointed out that peopletopeople exchanges in the AsiaPacific have long since entered everyday life, and cultural products such as film, television, and music are crossing language barriers and national borders, sparking broader resonance. He believes that telling local stories well in a serious manner, on the contrary, makes them easier to be heard by the world. He Mingyu, Senior Assistant Professor at Brunei University, said that language carries memory and history, and the purpose of cultural exchange is not to make each other the same, but to leave room for understanding differences. Diego Rusalin, Director of the Mexican MPV Media Company, said that differences are not the root cause of division, but an important foundation of a diverse world. Guests at the event also suggested that the AsiaPacific region could strengthen mechanisms for media and youth exchanges, promote the digitization and creative transformation of cultural heritage, and involve governments, international organizations, universities, enterprises, and social groups in joint participation to advance regional connectivity and coexistence and shared prosperity.
