Kim Seontae, a former civil servant turned YouTuber, reiterated his politically neutral stance while mentioning the difficulties he faced when he was in charge of electionrelated work.
In a YouTube video released on the 17th, Kim Seontae showed a cup he received from the Blue House and a presidential watch, explaining that they were not meant to signify any particular administration. He said they were items he had received from various administrations during his time as a civil servant, and that he was not politically aligned with either side.
He went on to reveal that he often encountered uncomfortable situations while handling electionrelated duties in the past. He explained that a significant portion of the work, such as posting election posters, preparing for early voting and the main vote, and setting up polling booths and ballot boxes, fell to local government civil servants, and expressed the view that improvements are needed across the system as a whole.
