The Chengdu Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision has reported that Wang Zexuan seriously violated Party discipline and the law, involving power-for-money transactions, bribery, and other issues. On August 5, the Chengdu Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervisory Commission announced that Wang Zexuan, former Party secretary and president of the Chenghua District People's Court in Chengdu, had been placed under disciplinary review and supervisory investigation for serious violations of discipline and law, and had been expelled from the Party and dismissed from public office.
The announcement pointed out that Wang Zexuan was disloyal and dishonest to the Party, resisted organizational review, concealed personal matters, illegally sought personnel benefits for others, accepted gifts, banquets, and travel arrangements, engaged in profitmaking activities in violation of regulations, and interfered in judicial activities.
In addition, the investigation found that he abused his position to engage in powerformoney transactions, illegally appropriated public property, and sought gains for others in areas such as project contracting while accepting huge amounts of property. At present, the relevant suspected criminal matters have been transferred to the procuratorate for review and prosecution in accordance with the law, and the involved property has been transferred along with the case.
