The 4th China International Supply Chain Expo opened in Beijing on June 22. Ding Xuexiang, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Vice Premier of the State Council, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a keynote speech.
Ding Xuexiang noted that the current international situation is complex and fluid, and global industrial and supply chains are facing the risk of fragmentation. China will continue to leverage its strengths in a complete industrial system and an ultralarge market, promote the stability and smooth flow of global industrial and supply chains, and support the operation of the world economy.
In his speech, he put forward four proposals, including strengthening mutual trust, upholding the multilateral trading system, promoting the integration of the innovation chain with the industrial and supply chains, and enhancing resource sharing in areas such as energy and critical minerals. At the opening ceremony, he also announced the official opening of this year's Chain Expo.
Before the opening ceremony, Ding Xuexiang toured the exhibition hall and exchanged views with heads of participating companies. South African Vice President Mashatile and heads of institutions such as the International Chamber of Commerce also attended and delivered remarks.
