Citizen Donates Books Worth 10 Million Won to the Memory Library

A citizen donated books worth 10 million won to the Daegu Metropolitan National Debt Repayment Movement Memorial Library. The citizen reportedly said they wanted to help the library, recalling their experience of studying there during middle and high school. It was explained that all of the donated books were purchased directly from local bookstores, with the hope that this would also support local bookstores and small business owners. The library plans to divide the donated books into the first and second halves of the year and place them on the shelves, and to run a related book curation program from the 7th to the 31st.
