King Frederik X of Denmark Meets Wang Yi

Copenhagen, July 3 (Xinhua) — On the same day, King Frederik X of Denmark met with Wang Yi, Member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and Minister of Foreign Affairs, at Amalienborg Palace. During the meeting, Frederik X conveyed greetings from President Xi Jinping to the Chinese side and said that ChinaDenmark relations have long been friendly, with economic and trade cooperation as well as peopletopeople exchanges remaining active in recent years. He mentioned that he has visited China many times and was deeply impressed by China's development and changes, and that the Danish royal family is willing to continue playing a role in promoting the development of relations between the two countries. Wang Yi conveyed President Xi Jinping's cordial greetings to the Danish royal family and noted that since the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Denmark, highlevel exchanges and traditional friendship between the two countries have continued uninterrupted. Wang Yi said that the Chinese side is willing to strengthen cooperation with the Danish side in areas such as green economy, innovative development, and artificial intelligence, while continuing to expand peopletopeople exchanges and enhance friendship between the peoples of the two countries. During the visit, Wang Yi also held talks with Danish Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen.
