Jensen Huang Meets in Succession with Samsung, Naver, SK, and Others in Korea
Jensen Huang visits Korea, expanding AI semiconductor cooperation with SK, Samsung, and Hyundai Motor Reviewing HBM and the next-generation AI ecosystem, his future moves draw attention amid meetings with domestic companies
NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang is meeting major domestic companies one after another as he enters the third day of his visit to Korea. On the 7th, he had dinner with SK Group Chairman Chey Taewon at a chicken restaurant in Gangnam, Seoul, and previously met with Hyundai Motor Group Chairman Chung Euisun, Krafton Chairman Chang Byunggyu, and NCSoft CEO Kim Taekjin.
After throwing the ceremonial first pitch at Jamsil Baseball Stadium that day, CEO Huang met with Chairman Chey and SK Group executives to discuss cooperation on HBM (high bandwidth memory) and nextgeneration AI semiconductors. He said that SK hynix achieved major results this year, and that it would expand further in the second half of the year and next year.
On the 8th, following meetings with Samsung Electronics and SK executives, he is also scheduled to appear on a live broadcast at Naver's headquarters. After that, he will visit LG, Hyundai Motor Group, and Seoul National University, and as the final itinerary of his Korea visit, he will also attend an event where domestic AI and robotics companies gather. Industry watchers see this schedule as a move to review the overall Korean AI ecosystem and broaden the direction of cooperation.
