Tottenham Hotspur released a tribute video on its official YouTube channel on the 8th to celebrate Son Heungmin's 34th birthday. The video features Son Heungmin's key goals for Tottenham, his 'click' celebration, and moments of him sharing joy with his teammates.
At the end of the video, the club left a message saying, “Then and now, we celebrate the birthday of our pride, Son Heungmin,” expressing its enduring affection. More than a year has passed since Son Heungmin transferred to LAFC last summer, but Tottenham still honors him as one of the club's iconic legends.
Since joining Tottenham in 2015, Son Heungmin has recorded 173 goals and 101 assists in 454 appearances across all competitions. In the 20212022 season, he became the first Asian player to share the Premier League Golden Boot, and he took part in major club moments such as winning the Puskás Award in 2019 and lifting the Europa League title in 2025.
