On June 8 local time, Vice President Han Zheng met with Belarusian President Lukashenko in Minsk and conveyed President Xi Jinping's greetings.
Han Zheng said that under the strategic guidance of the two heads of state, ChinaBelarus relations have maintained a high level of development, and both sides are willing to continue strengthening communication and coordination, implementing the consensus reached by the heads of state, and promoting bilateral cooperation to deepen and deliver tangible results.
Han Zheng also said that both sides should maintain close highlevel exchanges, deepen cooperation in traditional areas, advance alignment of development strategies, and jointly implement the four global initiatives to safeguard the common interests of developing countries. Lukashenko said that the Belarusian side attaches great importance to relations with China, supports the major initiatives proposed by China, and is willing to further strengthen political mutual trust and practical cooperation with China to promote the sustained development of relations between the two countries.
