HMM's ultralarge crude oil tanker, the 'Universal Winner,' which had been stationed in the Strait of Hormuz after the Middle East war, arrived off the coast of Ulsan on the 10th. This vessel is the first among 26 Korean ships to have exited the strait, and its movement was carried out in accordance with consultations between South Korea and Iran.
The Universal Winner, carrying 2 million barrels of Kuwaiti crude oil, entered Ulsan Port this afternoon and is scheduled to move to SK Energy's offshore crude oil unloading facility buoy to carry out unloading operations for two days. The vessel entered the Strait of Hormuz on February 28 and began transporting crude oil on March 4.
There are currently 21 crew members on board, including 9 Koreans and 12 foreigners, and it is known that none have any health issues. During the unloading period, supplies of groceries and daily necessities will also be provided.
