Lee Hyejung recalled that when she was working as a model in New York, her height was 179 cm and her weight dropped to 47 kg. She said that while being extremely busy, she did not have her period for three years and that at the time, she thought she had entered menopause.
She later said that after receiving a gynecological examination in Korea, she was told that it was not menopause, and that her doctor explained her period had stopped because she did not have enough blood to be released from her body. Lee Hyejung also revealed that after that, she went through a miscarriage and failed artificial insemination attempts, and said that she is currently living with her son and spending her days as a family.
