Multi-department Coordination Optimizes Cross-Region Transit Services to Support the “Three Summer” Harvest Rush

The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and other departments have recently continued to improve services such as crossregion travel, weather warnings, and guaranteed fuel supply, supporting local areas in carrying out the “Three Summer” harvest operations. It is currently the critical period for summer grain harvest, and some regions are still facing adverse weather conditions such as rainfall and lodging, making agricultural machinery dispatch and logistical support important pillars of harvest efficiency. Reports show that in Anhui, Jiangsu, and other places, the deployment of crawlertype combine harvesters, mobile grain dryers, and emergency operation service teams has improved harvest and lossreduction capabilities. Nationwide, as of June 12, the summer wheat harvest progress had exceeded 80 percent, and in many areas the wheat harvest was nearing completion or had basically finished. To ensure smooth crossregion operations, relevant departments issued crossregion operation permits in advance and set up green channels for agricultural machinery at highway toll stations; meanwhile, meteorological departments provide specialized weather service products for agricultural machinery operations, and petroleum and petrochemical enterprises have also strengthened services such as “delivering fuel to the countryside” and “delivering fuel to the fields,” reducing supply obstacles for agricultural machinery during field operations.
