The South Korean national football team, led by head coach Hong Myungbo, announced its starting lineup ahead of its friendly against El Salvador. The match was held on the 4th at South Field at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, USA.
Son Heungmin and Lee Kangin will start on the bench today. Son Heungmin scored two goals in the previous match against Trinidad and Tobago, recording his 55th and 56th international goals, but was left out of the starting lineup this time. Lee Kangin also joined the team only recently and is in a position where he may come on as a substitute.
Joo Gyusung leads the line, with Hwang Heechan and Lee Donggyeong supporting the attack. The midfield is handled by Hwang Inbeom and Lee Jaesung, while the defense is set up in a threeback formation with Lee Hanbeom, Kim Minjae, and Lee Kihyuk.
