Actress Baek Jinhee shared that early in her debut, she was a victim of a dualcontract fraud and had to pay the earnings she made from the sitcom ‘High Kick’ as a penalty. In a YouTube video of her own that was released on the 6th, Baek Jinhee said, in response to a question about the hardest period in her life, that she went through major difficulties early in her entertainment career because of unexpected contract issues. She explained that at the time, she trusted her manager’s explanation, but in reality the contract had not been properly settled, and later certified mail continued to be sent, escalating into a dispute. She recalled that after appearing in ‘High Kick,’ she suddenly received a great deal of attention, which made even everyday life difficult. It was a time when she felt anxious among many people, but she said she endured that difficult period by learning pottery. Baek Jinhee added that she now feels her 30s are more comfortable, and looking back on the past, it was an intense time, but she does not want to go back to it again.
